Prepares 2D and 3D drawings and schematics under supervision and procedural guidelines from the Project Manager or Project Engineer. Prepares design drawings, maps, details and other exhibits necessary to complete an engineering design package. Utilizes CAD software and add-ons to complete tasks efficiently. Requires working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation, and associated design software programs.

Associate Degree (or 4 years related experience)

Infrastructure Technician 2

Executes straightforward assignments under direct oversight and detailed guidance from the Project Manager. Responsibilities include gathering and preserving engineering documentation — existing plans, scanned materials, field data, and drawings. Completes work assignments punctually while producing technical details, annotations, and basic design plans. Requires foundational proficiency with AutoCAD, Microstation, and comparable design applications.

Infrastructure Technician 1

Major responsibility for technical performance. Possesses diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Applies advanced techniques, modifications and theories, and serves as technical liaison on matters pertaining to field of practice.

Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Science

Infrastructure Engineer

In a supervisory capacity, plans, develops, coordinates, and directs a large and important engineering project — or a number of small projects with many complex features — while managing administrative aspects of client engagement.

Infrastructure Project Manager

Working under general supervision, establishes basic design criteria and performs a variety of skilled professional engineering work in the office or field. Applies standard engineering techniques and procedures, along with professional judgment, to implement modifications or execute complex features and solutions.

Jr. Infrastructure Engineer

Reviews construction drawings; conducts inspections of water and sewer line construction; coordinates work activities; maintains records; and performs additional tasks as assigned.

2 years of applicable water/wastewater inspection experience

Utilities Inspector

Prepares 2D and 3D drawings and schematics under supervision and procedural guidelines from the Project Manager or Project Engineer. Creates design drawings, maps, details, and other exhibits for engineering design packages. Must be proficient in the use of Microstation and OpenRoads Designer, with a working knowledge of AutoCAD and associated design software programs.

Knowledge of WVDOH plan preparation requirements and standards

Transportation Technician 2

At the beginning level of engineering work, uses prescribed methods, standard techniques, and practices to perform beginning-level engineering assignments under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Science with a 3.0 GPA or higher

Engineer in Training

Licensed landscape architect contributing to all project phases from conceptual design through construction administration. Prepares detailed drawings, plans, and models of landscape and site features — including site-civil elements and topographical relief maps of project features such as roadways, trails, and site plans.

May lead small projects or tasks on larger initiatives and serves as part of multidisciplinary teams on medium to large-scale projects. Writes reports and specifications covering landscape, site-civil, and land planning matters. May be assisted by landscape designers, land planners, and technicians while managing revenue-producing projects.

Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture

5+ years of professional experience (typical)

Working knowledge of plant palettes, grading and drainage techniques, site-civil layout, and ADA-accessibility standards
