Level IIITRET Inspector
The Transportation Engineering Technician III performs advanced technical work in support of highway engineering, construction inspection, materials testing, maintenance, and transportation infrastructure projects. Employees in this classification exercise considerable independent judgment while ensuring construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations. The position may serve as the lead inspector on assigned projects and provide guidance and training to lower-level technicians.
Requirements
Requirements include documented five years of Board approved technical experience and obtained 450 TDH’s from the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Highway Engineering Technology requirements
