COAL CITY WTP FILTER REHABILIATION PROJECT

A pre-bid meeting will be conducted at the E.L. Robinson Engineering Beckley Office located at 93 Virginia Street, Beckley, WV 25801 at 11:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.

Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract No. 1 will be received by the Raleigh County PSD at its offices on 224 East Main Street, Sophia, WV 25921, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Friday, November 6, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

Contract No. 1 – Rehabilitation of two filter treatment units at the existing Coal City Water Treatment Plant. Work will included removal of existing filter media material, cleaning and coating of both filter treatment units, installation of new filter media, replacement of existing piping for both treatment units, installation of a doors, and related appurtenances.
