Tim Sheldon has more than 7 years of experience in the structural engineering field with both transportation and telecommunications projects. Mr. Sheldon uses his experience and attention to detail to design structures which will last for years to come.
At E.L. Robinson Engineering, Tim Sheldon has had years of experience as a bridge engineer designing and detailing bridges for clients throughout the Ohio Valley region. He has worked on the design of numerous bridges in ranging from small 30 ft stream crossings all the way up to large 1000 ft river crossings, from small county road bridges to major interstate bridges in the heart of America’s cities.
Additionally, Mr. Sheldon has served as a structural engineer on telecommunications projects working to support the backbone of America’s wireless industry. While in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Sheldon worked to retrofit wireless communications structures up to 400 ft tall to support the upgrade to 3G and 4G wireless networks.
The following is a sample list of recent bridge design projects on which Mr. Sheldon has worked while at E.L. Robinson Engineering:
- 850 ft long bridge over the Muskingum River
- Interstate 75 twin bridges over the Great Miami River, 925 ft long
- Design of the longest box beam bridge in the State of Ohio
- Rehabilitation of several large bridges along the West Virginia 10 Corridor
