Feb 07, 2014ELR Ohio Selected for Ohio Bridge Partnership Program Contract
ELR Ohio was selected by ODOT for the Ohio Bridge Partnership Design Build Documents contract and will be providing assistance for the development of design build contract documents for multiple projects. This will include: preliminary engineering, design-build scope documents, right of way plan development, and preparation of materials for individual Design Build PS&E packages. The Ohio Bridge Partnership Program is a new construction initiative designed to reduce the inventory of deficient county and municipal bridges across the state using design build delivery. This is the first-of-its-kind initiative and will invest $120 million to local bridges over the next three years. Director Jerry Wray stated, "The bridges we will be replacing over the next few years will benefit thousands, if not millions of people for decades to come." (Snell, D. Staff Reporter for The Richland Source) Only three contracts for design were given out to consultants.
