Ryan Dresbach, from our Columbus office, has supported MathCounts over the years. Read below on why Ryan supports Math Counts:
Initially, I started to volunteer because I like helping and giving back. What keeps me going back to MatchCounts is that I feel like I am empowering younger kids. Math can be fun and there are so many jobs and ways to utilize their math skills if that’s the route they want to go! Also, I want girls to know that there are other girls that think math (which is a part of STEM) is not just for boys. Girls can rock math skills too!
Ryan and her husband Cale spent a Saturday afternoon being a part of the grading team. They scored three schools that were a part of the MathCounts Competition.
