Landscape Architect - Charleston, WV

Seeking a talented and energetic landscape architect with 6 to 10 years of experience for the Charleston office of E.L. Robinson Engineering. Duties take place primarily in an office environment, with some work performed in the field. Design practice ranges from concept planning to detailed landscape architectural design; implementation for cities/towns; parks/recreation facilities; WVDOH pedestrian improvements and site-civil development. Projects include a mix of public and private sector work.

Applicants should be able to work closely with other design professionals, especially landscape architects, engineers, architects, planners, and surveyors. Attention to detail and very strong computer skills are required (including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcView GIS, SketchUp, Microsoft Office products, and Adobe Design Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign), as well as strong communications skills. Experience with preparing detailed construction plans and working drawings is very desirable.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture is required, with preference given to registered professional landscape architects.

Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview.
