A pre-bid meeting will be conducted at the Village of Woodsfield office at 11:00 a.m. on June 10, 2025. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
Bid date:
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Village of Woodsfield Wastewater System Project will be received at the office of the Village of Woodsfield; 221 South Main Street Woodsfield, OH 43793, until 1:30 p.m. local time on June 25, 2025, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
Quantities of work:
The work shall consist of replacement of the existing vortex grit unit, improvements to the oxidation ditches including draining / cleaning, replacement of the aeration equipment and adjustable effluent weir and installation and handrail; improvements to the secondary clarifiers including, draining /cleaning, replacement of all internal components, sandblast / painting of the access bridge, replacement of the handrails, replacement of the hydropneumatic tank and all other necessary
appurtenances.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon a non-refundable payment of $250.00 for Contract #1, plus a non-refundable shipping charge of $35.00 per set. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to “E.L. Robinson Engineering Company”. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
