A pre-bid meeting will be held on November 13, 2025 at 2 PM at the office of the Owner located at Sandy Hook City Hall, 187 South KY 7, Sandy Hook, Kentucky 41171. Bidders are encouraged to attend, but attendance is not mandatory to be eligible to submit a bid.

Bid date:

Sealed bids for the construction of the Sandy Hook WWTP Existing Equipment Replacement Project for the City of Sandy Hook will be received by the Owner until November 20, 2025. Bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM Local Time at the office of the Owner located at Sandy Hook City Hall, 187 South KY 7, Sandy Hook, Kentucky 41171. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids will be returned unopened to the Bidder.

Quantities of work:

The project includes contractor labor for removal/replacement of existing equipment at the Sandy Hook WWTP site located on Bank Street in downtown Sandy Hook, KY. Also included is removal/replacement of existing equipment at the site of Sandy Hook’s Prison wastewater pump station located at the site of the Little Sandy Corrections Complex on KY Rt 7, Prison Road , Sandy Hook, KY. Most of the equipment replacement items are being supplied separately, by direct purchase agreements by the Owner. Equipment to be directly supplied by the Owner is directly noted in the bidding documents. The contract completion time is three hundred sixty five (365) consecutive calendar days from the notice to proceed date specified in the contract documents.
