Pre-bid info:
An optional pre-bid conference for the purpose of discussing the scope of work, labor standards and other requirements will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the James W. Curry Library, 1721 Brooks Hill Road, French Creek, West Virginia, 26218, and will adjourn at the project site.
Bid date:
The Upshur County Commission (Owner) will receive sealed bids properly endorsed “James W. Curry Campground Dump Station” until 3:00 p.m., EST on Friday, November 14, 2025, in the Upshur County Administrative Annex, 91 West Main Street, Suite 101, Buckhannon, West Virginia, 26201, at which time all bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding and to accept the bid considered to be in its best interest from the lowest responsible bidder. All interested parties are invited to attend.
Quantities of work:
The work consists of the following:
1) Construction activities shall consist of installation of new fiberglass wastewater storage tank with appurtenances, hatch drains, water towers, solar lighting with concrete foundation, signage, sanitary sewer piping with sleeves, non-potable waterline with sleeves, valve pit, waterline fittings, concrete curbing, concrete pavement, compacted aggregate / stone pavement, associated project excavation and grading, erosion and sediment controls, and seeding & mulching for finished lawn areas.
